How to make quick and easy maraq bilash/dalac bilash
Ingredients:
- 1/4 of an onion
- 4 tomatoes
- 2 chili peppers
- 3 potatoes
- 1 1/2 cup of water
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/4 of a slice of green pepper
- 1/4 of a slice of red pepper
Instructions:
- Wash all your produce.
- Cut the 4 tomatoes, 2 chili peppers, and 3 potatoes into circular shapes.
- Heat up a few tbsp of oil onto a pan.
- Sautee some onions until golden brown in the pan.
- Add in the slice tomatoes and chili peppers into the pan, stir around a little, and cover for about 10 minutes and allow to simmer.
- Ocassionally, crush the tomatoes with a wooden spoon.
- Uncover lid and add in 1/2 tsp salt and 1/4 tsp black pepper, stir well.
- Add in the sliced potatoes, stir well, then add in 1 cup of water, cover and allow to thoroughly cook.
- Stir occasionally.
- If the water cuts down and the potatoes are not quite ready yet, add in a little bit of water at a time until potatoes are cooked.
- When potatoes are cooked, add in the sliced bell peppers and some onions on top, cover lid, and allow to simmer for 5 minutes.
- Enjoy with bread, anjero, or malawax!
