 Trying Gigi Hadid's Spicy Pasta Recipe without Vodka Ingredients: 1/4 cup olive oil on medium heat 1 chopped cloves garlic 1/4 of a red onion Add in 1/4 cup tomato paste 1/2 cup heavy cream 1 tsp red chili flakes Salt and pepper 1/2 pound pasta Save 1/4 cup of pasta water 1 tbsp butter and stir  1/4 cup shredded   Parmesan cheese Dress with come cheese and basil Instructions: Boil pasta and set aside. Save 1/4 cup of pasta water for later.  How to Make Basic, Easy Sugar Cookies Ingredients: 2 3/4 cups flour 1/2 tsp baking powder 1 tsp baking soda 1 cup butter (2 sticks) 1 1/2 cup sugar 1 egg 1 tsp vanilla *yields about 32 cookies Instructions: Pre-heat oven to 350 degrees fahrenheit. In a bowl, add in flour, baking powder, baking soda. Mix and set aside for now. In a separate bowl, beat the butter and sugar together until creamy. Add in the egg, beat in well. Then add in the vanilla. Gradually blend in the dry ingredients. Then place the dough into a Ziploc bag and leave in the refrigerator for 30 minutes. Remove dough from zip-lock bag and roll out the dough to about a 1/4 inch thickness. Use a cookie cutter or whatever you have on hand, cut the dough into shapes. Re-roll remaining dough and continue cutting until all the dough is used. (We decided to just make circular shapes, so we just used the rim of a glass cup for even circle shaped cookies.) Easy Mashed Potatoes Recipe (Beginner Friendly)   Ingredients: 3 to 4 lbs of potatoes (appx 10 potatoes) 1/2 cup of butter (usually 1 stick) (room temperature) 1 tsp salt 1 tsp black pepper 1 cup heavy cream (warmed) sprinkle of parsley (for topping) Instructions: Wash, scrub, and clean your potatoes Peel the potatoes skin Cut them all into small, equal pieces to cook evenly and quickly As you are cutting, place the pieces into cold water to prevent from browning When ready to cook, put cold water and some salt into a pot and place heat on high, cook until fork tender (roughly 20 minutes) Drain potatoes into a strainer/colander Once drained, *make sure the heat is off* place the drained potatoes into the same pot for 5 minutes to drain any excess liquids After that, start mashing the potatoes Add in the butter little by little and continue mashing Add in the half and half (or milk) and continue mashing Then add in your seasoning, 1 tsp salt and 1 tsp black pepper, and continue mash...

 Simple Chicken Burger Patty Recipe Ingredients: 4 lb chicken 3 garlic cloves 1 tsp salt (or to taste) 2 tsp black pepper 1 tsp garlic powder 2 tsp masala curry Instructions: Cut up 1 lb of chicken into slices Mince meat (we used the kitchen aid with the food grinder attachment) Also mince 3 garlic cloves into the minced chicken Into the minced chicken, add in 1 tsp salt, 2 tsp black pepper, 1 tsp garlic powder, and 2 tsp masala curry Mix everything in Once all the ingredients are mixed in, form into several circular shapes On your working area, put down a piece of wax paper, then form the circular minced meat into a patty shape Once that's all done, grill the chicken patties for a few minutes (5 to 10 min) on each side on 350 degrees heat Dress the chicken burger patty to your liking and enjoy! fyi: 1 lb of chicken can make 3 chicken patties, we used 4 lbs of chicken to make a total of 12 chicken burger patties To view video of this recipe, please click on links below.  Garahamudo Sahali (Kalamudo) Ingredients for Meat Broth: 1 onion 4 to 5 garlic cloves 2 chicken stock cubes 3 cups of water 1 lb of beef meat 2 tbsp of canned puréed tomato 6 to 7 tomatoes 2 chili peppers 3 to 4 cloves of garlic cloves 5 cups of water Ingredients for Garahamudo: 8 cups of flour 1 tbsp sugar 1 tsp salt 1 tsp oil *Heads up, we're cooking for a lot of people.  Bariis Somali Fuduud - How to Make Easy Somali Rice Ingredients 1 tbsp cooking oil 1/4 of an onion 1 tbsp of xawaji (Somali Spice Mix - recipe coming soon) 2 chicken stock cubes 2 cups rice of choice (we used Basmati) 4 cups water Food colorings Instructions Soak 2 cups of rice in water for 20 min Meanwhile boil water in a kettle Place 2 chicken stock cubes in a cup and pour some of the boiling water on it Chop up onions in small pieces Rinse the water out of the rice  Take a pot, put stove on medium, then place cooking oil in it When oil is heated, add in chopped onions Once onions are translucent, add in the tbsp of xawaji Add the drained rice into the pot and mix around to lightly toast Add in the one cup of chicken stock cubes mixed in hot water Then add in the additional 3 cups of boiling water from the kettle to just cover the rice completely  Rice is ready when the water is finished Once ready, cover the pot with a piece of aluminum foil, and transfer to the oven...
