Delicious Simple Homemade Cinnamon Rolls
Ingredients:
- 1/3 cup water
- 2 1/4 teaspoons yeast
- 1/4 teaspoon sugar
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1/2 cup milk
- 6 tablespoons melted butter
- 2 tablespoons oil
- 1 tablespoon vanilla
- 2 eggs
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 4 cups flour
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 1 tablespoon cinnamon
- 1/2 cup melted butter
- ½ cup cream cheese
- 3 tablespoons milk
- 1 1/2 cups powdered sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla
Instructions:
- In a cup, stir water, yeast, and sugar. Let it rise for a few minutes.
- When risen, add the yeast mixture in a bowl. In the same bowl, add in sugar, milk, melted butter, oil, vanilla, beaten eggs, salt, and baking powder and mix well. Stir in the flour little by little.
- Once dough has formed, cover, and set aside for 1 hour to double in size.
- Flour your working area.
- Knead the dough into a rectangular shape.
- Brush dough with melted butter.
- In a bowl, mix brown sugar and cinnamon. Then add the mixture onto the buttered dough.
- Roll dough.
- Use a floss to slice the cinnamon rolls.
- Butter pan and place the cinnamon rolls onto the pan.
- Bake on 350 degrees farenheit for ~25 minutes.
- For the glaze, mix cream cheese, melted butter, milk, powder sugar, and vanilla.
