How to Make Sambusa Khaki (Fooliyo Sambuska) Samosa Pastry Sheets
Ingredients:
- 6 cups of flour
- 1 tbsp sugar
- 2 tbsp oil
- 3 cups water (add in one at a time)
Instructions:
- Sift 6 cups of flour into a large bowl, then add 1 tbsp sugar, and 2 tbsp oil
- Then mix dry ingredients
- Then add a total of 3 cups of water, ONE BY ONE, and continue to mix until dough is formed
- Flour your working area
- Shape the dough into a long, rectangular shape then cut into a few small pieces
- Shape each piece of dough into a flat, circular shape
- Then with a rolling pin, roll out the dough into a flat circular shape
- Then add some oil on top and a little bit of flour on each dough piece and stack a total of 5 together and roll out again together evenly
- Cut stack into 4 pieces
- On medium heat, place a stack onto a pan and fry for a few minutes on each side
- Allow to cool, and then separate the stack into singular pieces
- Then enjoy and start wrapping your sambusas with these homemade khaki/pastry sheets!
