Cambulo Galay Fuduud | Mangi
Ingredients:
- 1 cup whole corn grits
- 2 cups red chori
- water (about 10 to 12 cups to cook with)
- 1/2 tsp salt
- sesame oil and sugar to enjoy with
Instructions:
- Place 1 cup of whole corn grits in a bowl
- Wash and clean the whole corn grits
- Place the rinsed corn grits into a pot, add 5 cups of water, and place on medium heat
- Bring it to a boil and stir
- Drain into colander
- Then place the dry corn grits back into the same pot and add 5 cups of water
- In a seperate bowl, add 2 cups of red chori into a bowl, wash, and rinse
- Then place dried red chori into the same pot with he whole corn grits
- Bring it to a boil for 15 minutes, stir occasionally, then reduce heat to a simmer for about 45 minutes
- Towards the end of the cooking process, add 1/2 tsp salt, and stir
- Plate it, drizzle with some sesame oil and sugar, and enjoy!
