 How to make quick and easy maraq bilash/dalac bilash Ingredients: 1/4 of an onion 4 tomatoes 2 chili peppers 3 potatoes 1 1/2 cup of water 1/2 tsp salt 1/4 of a slice of green pepper 1/4 of a slice of red pepper Instructions: Wash all your produce. Cut the 4 tomatoes, 2 chili peppers, and 3 potatoes into circular shapes. Heat up a few tbsp of oil onto a pan. Sautee some onions until golden brown in the pan. Add in the slice tomatoes and chili peppers into the pan, stir around a little, and cover for about 10 minutes and allow to simmer. Ocassionally, crush the tomatoes with a wooden spoon. Uncover lid and add in 1/2 tsp salt and 1/4 tsp black pepper, stir well. Add in the sliced potatoes, stir well, then add in 1 cup of water, cover and allow to thoroughly cook. Stir occasionally. If the water cuts down and the potatoes are not quite ready yet, add in a little bit of water at a time until potatoes are cooked. how to make tasty malawax / lahoh / somali crepe / somali pancake Ingredients: 2 cups milk  2 eggs  1/2 cup sugar  1/2 tsp salt  1/2 tsp cardamom  2 cups flour   Toppings: ghee  sugar  powdered sugar  nutella  strawberries Instructions: Put all your ingredients (2 cups milk, 2 eggs, 1/2 cup sugar, 1/2 tsp salt, 1/2 tsp cardamom, 2 cups flour) in a blender and blend until smooth.  the perfect spicy potato side dish 🥔 Ingredients: 10 potatoes  1 tsp salt  orange food coloring  some oil for cooking  2 cups water  store bought hot sauce (any kind, we used ‘red devil hot sauce’) Instructions: Wash and peel 10 potatoes and cut into circular shapes Place all the circular potatoes into a bowl and add in 1 tsp salt, a few dashes of orange food coloring and shake it all up to mix and color it all evenly Heat up a few tbsp of oil into a pan and place potatoes into pan to shallow fry and occasionally stir Add about 2 cups of water and cover pan with lid until all the water is absorbed and the potatoes are cooked thoroughly When ready, remove lid, stir occasionally, add in your choice of store bought hot sauce (we used 'red devil hot sauce') and mix Serve and enjoy!  anchari (traditional barawa hot sauce recipe) Ingredients: 10 tomatoes  1 onion   5 garlic cloves  20 chili peppers  1 tsp red chili pepper   1 tsp black pepper  a few tbsp oil for cooking  1/4 of an onion  1 tbsp curry powder   2 tbsp purée tomatoes  tamarind (and water to soak it in)  1 cup mango  1 tsp salt Instructions: Chop up 10 tomatoes and blend it in a blender Pour blended tomatoes in a separate bowl and set it aside for now In a blender, add in 1 whole onion, 5 garlic cloves, and 20 chili peppers, 1 tsp of red chili pepper, and 1 tsp black pepper, and blend and set aside for now In a pot, heat up a few tbsp of oil Finely chop up 1/4 of an onion and add it into the pot with heated oil, stir, and cook until golden brown Add in 1 tbsp of curry and continue stirring Then add in 2 tbsp of tomato puree and continue to stir Then add in the blended chili pepper, garlic, and onion mixture Give it a stir and let it boil for a few minutes, BE CAREFUL DON'T BURN YOURSELF Then add in
